Each week during Lent, The Episcopal Mission of Warren County is offering, Practicing the Way of Love, at 7 PM at our Warren location. This opportunity is part of our traditional understanding of Lent being a time for special devotion and study in our faith lives.
The Way of Love is a way of life.
More than a program or curriculum, it is an intentional commitment to a set of practices. It’s a commitment to follow Jesus: Turn, Learn, Pray, Worship, Bless, Go, Rest. Click here for more information on the Way of Love and a video presentation by our Presiding Bishop, The Rt. Rev. Michael Curry.
We are very excited to have received our first donation supporting our project to bring more chairs into the worship space!
Along with hearing from Father Tim at the Annual Meeting, you hopefully have received the Trinity CMT letter inviting you to join in supporting our vision for Trinity that includes replacing some of our pews with chairs. This change helps us bring more flexibility with how we use our sacred space to support and promote our faith lives together. Small group ministries, further experiments in worship, and increased comfort are just some of the benefits we see in this, all helping us worship God and workshop our faith lives together.
If you did not receive the invitation letter please pick up a copy in the entryway, click here or see Father Tim for more information.
Father Matthew offers some comments on the Annual Meeting.

The Becoming Beloved Community Advent Study is an outgrowth of the Episcopal Church’s call to boldly address racial healing, reconciliation, and justice. Over three weeks participants will get to discuss different aspects of racial and cultural injustice that continue to keep us from realizing the vision of Jesus for us his church. This is an invitation to consider our unique perspectives in our local community and the stories of our personal lives, all built on the hope of what our baptismal covenant calls us: to be congregations of love, liberation, and hope. We will meet on Wednesday night at 7 for the next three weeks. See Father Matthew for more information.
We all gather for worship, celebration, confirmations and receptions when The Rt. Rev. Sean W. Rowe, Bishop of the Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania makes his Annual Visit to the Episcopal Mission of Warren County on Sunday, November 11th.
We will have only one service on the 11th. The service begins at 9:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 343 East Main Street, Youngsville.
A festive brunch follows the service and you are welcome to bring a dish to share. We hope so see everyone at what is sure to be an inspirational get-together!
