2023 Graduates!

Below is a brief bio for this year’s graduates with links to our congregations! Special prayers will be offered for them and all graduates during our June 4th worship services.

Kelsey Dilks, daughter of Bob and Jen Dilks, graduated from Gannon University with a Master in Physician Assistant Science degree. She is currently finishing up her last two medical rotations, first at the ER at Meadville Medical Center and then in internal medicine in Seneca PA. She is scheduled to take her boards on September 7th, and she would like to move to Pittsburgh and become a physician assistant in women’s health.

 

Jayna Johnson, niece of John and Cindy Willis, graduates from Kane Area High School this week as valedictorian of her class. She plans to attend Slippery Rock University beginning this fall with plans to major in Accounting, eventually pursuing a Master in Accountancy degree.

 

Joseph Scordo, son of Holly and Tony Scordo and grandchild of Mary Lou Campbell, graduated in December from Buffalo State University with a degree in media production. Joe is living in Buffalo and loves working for PBS and WNED Classical.

 

Sam Scott, eldest child of Matthew and Nancy Scott, graduates from Warren Area High School this Friday. They will continue their education at Allegheny College this fall, with plans to study Communications and Environmental Science.

 

Hanna Taylor, daughter of Scott and Pam Taylor and granddaughter of Nancy Hahn and the late Denny Hahn, graduated from Gannon University on May 6, 2023. Hanna received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences and her Associate of Science degree in Radiological Sciences. Hanna has two more months of clinical placement at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA. She plans to come home to work in her field and further her education toward earning her certificate in Radiation Therapy.

 

Trinity Wennberg, grandchild of Mark and Jill Woody, graduated from Seton Hill University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She will continue her studies at JCC in their registered nurse program while working locally. She hopes to work in ICU or pediatrics once she completes the Bachelors of Nursing Science program.
